The Bedrunka+Hirth RotaRex® CNC Tool Storage Cabinets are designed for the organized, secure, and space-saving storage of CNC tool holders in production facilities, toolrooms, and machine setup areas. Thanks to their rotating internal frame system, they provide quick and convenient access to stored tools without the need for pull-out drawers or shelves.
The RotaRex® system utilizes rotating internal CNC frames fitted with plastic or metal inserts according to the selected tool holder interface. The cabinets are suitable for storing SK, BT, HSK, VDI, and other common tool holder systems, depending on the chosen configuration. This enables a large number of tool assemblies to be stored within a minimal footprint while protecting tool holders from damage, dust, and contamination.
RotaRex® cabinets are available with several door configurations. Standard versions can be equipped with hinged doors or a roller shutter. The roller shutter is available with electric operation via remote control or, alternatively, with a spring-assisted mechanism. According to the manufacturer, optional features include an aluminum-finish shutter and an emergency release system for use in the event of a power failure or technical malfunction.
RotaRex® cabinets are an ideal solution wherever fast tool access, high storage capacity, and maximum space utilization are required. According to the manufacturer, up to 400 SK30 inserts or 300 SK40 inserts can be stored within just 1 m² of floor space. The internal column accommodates up to five rotating CNC frames, each individually adjustable in 25 mm increments.
